Chuck meets Randy Baillargeon in Dettah, Northwest Territories, to go moose hunting. Randy takes him to Tibbitt Lake and awakens him to a vast land rich in promise yet fraught with uncertainty, particularly due to climate change. As game proves scarce, the two men make do with shore lunches of muskox marrow cooked over a fire, cranberry turnovers, and fried fish sandwiches.
