On a freezing day in Kitcisakik, in Quebec’s Abitibi region, Chuck goes beaver trapping with a local couple. Adrienne Anichinapéo and her husband Edmond Brazeau take Chuck to the Dozois Reservoir and show him how to set up a trap on the frozen lake. As luck would have it, they find a large beaver caught in their trap the next day. Back at home, they butcher the animal and roast it in the oven. Two young locals join the party, eager to learn this valuable skill.
