Charlie Hopkins takes him dip net fishing on the Thames River, using a technique unique to the local Lenape people. Kamryn Whiteye, head dancer at the community’s 53^rd Pow Wow, introduces Chuck to the spiritual significance of this celebration and its dances. Chuck lends a hand at Charlie’s vendor stand and helps him prepare his famous salted pork sandwich on fried bread.
